This is basically a “built-in” version of the S-Series available in a 6 or 7 string model (B-6 or B-7). It maintains the same natural acoustic qualities of the instrument. According to Bob Benedetto, this pickup is “the best sounding jazz pickup I’ve ever heard. There isn’t even a close second.”

I was looking for a pickup that gives me even distribution of tone across the strings and this one seem to do that. I have not yet been able to get that on both my amplifiers but I am please with this pickup.

The b7 pickup is everything I was hoping it would be, it has a lovely warm tone yet fantastic clarity, I'm just about to order another, I guess that has to be a five star recommendation then.

Perfect pick-up: gorgeous looks, gorgeous sound. What more do you want?

The B-6 is the best mounted jazz pickup period. I don't know why Benedetto specs the A-6 on the Bravo, or any archtop. Don't misunderstand, the A-6 may be a good fit on the Benny, & is better sounding than most anything else, but on a direct mount archtop it should be B-6 only.
